The Car Wash Attendant is responsible for the daily operation of the car wash facility, ensuring vehicles are cleaned efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. The attendant ensures all equipment is functioning properly, maintains cleanliness and delivers excellent customer service throughout the process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Clean and service cars for Uncle Ike's Car Wash. Guide customers/vehicles and prepare vehicles for washing. Assisting customers with payments and transactions as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay and surrounding area. Operate and monitor automated car wash systems and related machinery. Refill cleaning chemicals and supplies as needed. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Report malfunctions, damage, or customer concerns to management promptly. Establish good working relationships with other team members. Foster positive communications and relationships with customers. Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a secure working environment. Actively participate in meetings as required. Other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
QUALIFICATIONS
Dependable, good time management Detail Oriented Critical Thinking Skills Excellent communication skills and friendly customer service Experience in the service industry preferred, auto wash experience a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent standing and walking. Frequent lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds. Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Must be able to use a computer and see color.
