Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Automotive Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, restoring, and finishing vehicles to ensure they meet dealership, customer, or service-center quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform interior and exterior detailing on vehicles, including washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, and upholstery cleaning. Clean and treat surfaces such as leather, vinyl, plastic, and fabric. Conduct paint correction processes such as buffing, compounding, and scratch removal (if applicable). Apply protective coatings, sealants, and finishes as required. Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality results and customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing bay and equipment. Follow all safety guidelines and use chemicals and tools properly. Report any vehicle damage or issues to management. Assist with vehicle pick-up, drop-off, or lot organization as needed. Qualifications Previous detailing or automotive experience preferred but not required; training available. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Work Environment & Schedule Fast-paced shop or dealership environment. Weekend or evening shifts may be required, based on business needs. Use of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment is required. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience).
