Responsibilities Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and safety standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for menu items. Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by bussing tables and clearing used dishware. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including countertops, sinks, and storage areas, following health regulations. Help with catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of food items. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene in all tasks. Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen environment through regular cleaning duties. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy pots or moving supplies. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting. Basic culinary skills including food preparation and cooking are a plus. Experience with banquet or hotel food service is advantageous but not mandatory. Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
