Responsibilities Ensure all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored to uphold health standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items to support chefs and kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service stations through regular sweeping, mopping, and trash removal. Support catering events or banquet setups by preparing serving stations and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for service. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times. Collaborate with team members to manage bussing duties, clearing tables quickly and efficiently during busy service periods. Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating hospitality-focused behavior and a proactive attitude toward cleaning and food prep tasks. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with bussing, cleaning protocols, or basic food preparation techniques will be advantageous. Experience working in banquet settings or catering events can be a plus. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is preferred. Prior hospitality or hotel experience can provide a strong foundation for success in this role.
