Job Description
Job Summary Alabama Appliance is seeking a dependable and hardworking Restaurant Dishwasher to support kitchen operations by ensuring dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas and dish stations Dispose of trash and recycling according to company procedures Assist with stocking clean dishes and kitchen supplies Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organizational tasks Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties Requirements Previous dishwasher, kitchen, or food service experience preferred but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies and equipment safely Reliable attendance and punctuality Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Benefits Competitive hourly wage Employee meal discounts where applicable Paid training and onboarding support Flexible scheduling opportunities Supportive team-oriented work environment Opportunities for career growth and advancement About Company Alabama Appliance is committed to maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and professionalism.
