Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment. The Dishwasher will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients for cooking. Support banquet services by ensuring that all necessary items are clean and ready for events. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during peak hours. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met. Help with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas as required. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques is a plus. Experience in catering or banquet services is advantageous. Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
