Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations by regularly cleaning work areas, sinks, and dish racks. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware is spotless and ready for service. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times. Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and smooth flow during busy service hours. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or culinary environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Experience with bussing tables or supporting food service operations is a plus.
