In this lively role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Your energy and attention to detail will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless and ready for service. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in food service, hospitality, and culinary operations while supporting the overall success of our restaurant or catering venue. Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently to meet health and safety standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as cleaning vegetables or organizing ingredients when needed Support the kitchen team by bussing tables and clearing used dishware during busy service hours Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety compliance Help with light cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold a welcoming environment Skills Strong understanding of food handling safety and sanitation practices Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; banquet or hotel experience is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic knowledge of kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, and cleaning procedures Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with energy and enthusiasm Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your contributions keep the kitchen running smoothly!
