Summary The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills is looking for a part-time reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Porter to support our culinary team and keep our café running smoothly. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient environment in a fast-paced specialty food setting. Responsibilities Work closely with the culinary team and support the overall cafe operations Handling all food, storage and cleaning activities for the store location in compliance with federal, state & local health and safety regulations Wash and sanitize all kitchen equipment, cookware, utensils, and dishes with efficiency and care Maintains the sanitation for the back of the house including, removing garbage, cleaning floors, coolers, freezers and stock areas Responsible for keeping the dish pit, line and prep areas organized and clean Replenishing dishes in the front & back of the house Qualifications Previous experience in a porter, janitorial, kitchen support, or retail stock role preferred but not required Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis Must be flexible to work nights and weekends based on business needs Must be 18 years of age or older Food Handler Certification (Basic Food Safety) required Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty food environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
