Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning items under supervision Support food service operations by bussing tables and clearing dining areas efficiently Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, storage areas, and dining spaces in compliance with health and safety standards Aid in setting up catering or banquet events by preparing necessary supplies and ensuring smooth flow of service Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and maintain a clean work environment Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, catering, or culinary environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food handling safety protocols Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the shift Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations Familiarity with bussing, food preparation, cooking, serving or hospitality practices is a plus Willingness to follow safety guidelines and adhere to health regulations at all times Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication keeps our kitchens running smoothly!
