Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and organizing workstations regularly Support catering and banquet setups by preparing serving stations and ensuring all items are ready for service Manage waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently to keep the kitchen tidy Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth flow during busy service times and special events Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential Knowledge of basic food handling, cleaning procedures, and kitchen safety standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency Strong attention to detail when cleaning, organizing, and assisting with food prep tasks Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations Familiarity with food preparation techniques such as bussing tables or basic cooking is a plus Prior experience in banquet or hospitality settings can enhance your ability to excel in this role Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly through your dedication to cleanliness, food prep skills, and hospitality excellence!
