Duties Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and kitchen staff. Maintain a clean and organized work station, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly. Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely setup and breakdown. Help with bussing tables and clearing plates during service hours to ensure smooth operations. Follow all food handling safety guidelines and proper sanitation procedures to uphold health standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of prepared foods and maintain a positive team environment. Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with food handling procedures, cleaning protocols, and basic food preparation techniques. Experience working in banquet settings or large-scale catering events is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
