Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning surfaces, floors, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Bus tables and assist servers in clearing dishes to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests. Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a clean working environment. Support catering events by ensuring that all necessary items are cleaned and ready for service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations is essential. Experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail with excellent cleaning skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
