This role is essential to keeping kitchen operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Key ResponsibilitiesDishwashing & Sanitation Wash all dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen tools by hand using a three-compartment sink (wash, rinse, sanitize) Maintain clean and organized dishwashing and drying areas Properly sanitize items according to health department standards Keep floors, sinks, and surrounding areas clean and dry Take out trash and recycling as needed Restock clean dishes and kitchen tools to proper stations Food Prep Support Assist with basic prep tasks such as: Washing and cutting vegetables Portioning ingredients Preparing sauces or sides as directed Label and store food properly following food safety guidelines Help keep prep areas clean and organized General Kitchen Support Follow all food safety and hygiene rules Support line cooks and kitchen staff during busy periods Report equipment or sanitation issues to management Maintain a fast pace while staying organized and accurate Physical & Job Requirements Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented No prior experience required (training provided), kitchen experience is a plus
