Job Description

Join Our Team as a Dishwasher / Kitchen Cleaning Associate at Sugar Bloom Cakery! Are you someone who takes pride in keeping things clean and organized? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? At Sugar Bloom Cakery in Redlands, CA, we're looking for a dedicated Dishwasher / Kitchen Cleaning Associate to help us maintain the high standards of cleanliness and safety that our customers and team count on every day.
What You'll Do:
As a vital member of our kitchen team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Washing, sanitizing, and properly storing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of dishwashing stations and kitchen work areas.
  • Performing deep cleaning of kitchen floors, walls, equipment, coolers, storage areas, and other back-of-house spaces.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Removing trash and recycling while keeping disposal areas clean and organized.
  • Assisting with organizing and restocking kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Following all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Supporting the kitchen team with general cleaning and maintenance tasks.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking someone who:
  • Has a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Can work independently and complete cleaning tasks thoroughly.
  • Is dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
  • Can stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Has at least 1 year of previous dishwashing, janitorial, or kitchen cleaning experience (preferred but not required).
