Dishwasher / Front of House Support Team Member IZOLA Bakery is looking for a Dishwasher / Front of House Support Team Member to join our team. This role is one of the quiet engines of the bakery. When dish is flowing, the whole team can move: bakers can keep baking, front of house can keep serving, inventory can be received and stocked, and guests can keep experiencing the warm, generous hospitality IZOLA is known for. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing hard, physical work well. Someone who can move with speed and precision, stay calm in a fast-paced environment, and understand that clean, organized, well-stocked tools and supplies are essential to every beautiful croissant, loaf, drink, and guest experience we create. What You'll Do Your primary responsibility will be keeping the dish area clean, organized, and moving efficiently throughout service and production.
Responsibilities include:
Washing, sanitizing, and properly storing dishes, trays, utensils, tools, smallwares, and equipment Operating the dishwashing machine safely and correctly Scrubbing items by hand as needed Keeping the dish area clean, organized, stocked, and safe Moving quickly while maintaining strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation Supporting the back-of-house team by making sure bakers and production team members have the tools they need Supporting inventory receiving, including helping unload deliveries, verify items as directed, and put products away in the correct storage areas Helping keep storage areas clean, organized, and properly stocked Helping maintain a clean, beautiful, guest-ready bakery environment This role may also support the Front of House team as needed, including: Running the drinks dishwashing station Bussing tables and resetting guest areas Assisting with opening and closing duties Jumping in wherever the team needs support In short: this role helps the whole bakery succeed. What This Role Requires This is a physical, fast-paced role. The right person for this position will be comfortable staying on their feet, moving quickly, lifting, carrying, bending, scrubbing, organizing, unloading deliveries, stocking inventory, and staying focused during busy periods.
