Dishwasher/Helper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff in delivering high-quality dining experiences to our guests. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly. Assist in food preparation as needed, including basic food handling tasks. Help with the organization of kitchen supplies and storage areas. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Skills Knowledge of food handling practices is preferred. Experience in a kitchen environment, including roles such as cook or food preparation, is advantageous. Familiarity with banquet or catering operations is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Team player with good communication skills who can help create a positive work atmosphere.
