In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen while delivering exceptional service to our guests. You will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with various kitchen tasks to support our chefs and front-of-house staff. Responsibilities Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for service, including banquet events. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and bussing tables as needed. Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely service and resolve any issues that may arise during shifts. Assist with inventory management by keeping track of supplies and notifying management when stock is low. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and requests promptly. Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
