Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation tasks. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating under the supervision of kitchen staff. Support catering and banquet setups by preparing necessary food items and ensuring timely delivery of clean dishes. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces. Help with bussing tables during service hours to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests. Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health and safety regulations. Assist in basic cooking tasks as needed to support the culinary team's operations. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward collaborative work. Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
