Job Description
Rebel Bread is hiring for a part-time Cafe Dish Support/Sandwich Production position. This is a hybrid role that will primarily assist with assembling sandwiches for our cafe, be responsible for dishwashing, and also assist with pizza service on Friday evenings. This is a part-time position, about 24-26 hours per week, but there may be opportunities to pick up more shifts in other departments as needed.
Main responsibilities:
Efficiently washes dishes, washing by hand as needed and operating the dishwashing machine for sanitationPuts away clean dishes where they belongMaintains a clean and orderly dishwashing station and kitchen; Properly closes down the dish station at the end of each shiftAssists in the assembly of sandwiches, salads, and other items for cafe and wholesale ordersAssists during Friday night pizza service, assisting with expediting orders and washing dishes as needed

Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standardsComfortable lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs.; Comfortable working around hot ovens and in cold walk-in coolers; Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of timeDetail-oriented with a strong eye for quality and precisionPossessing initiative and willingness to learnAbility to work well independently and within a teamPrevious experience in a bakery or food production environment is a plus, but not requiredSchedule:
Thursday 10a-3p (sandwich production/dish support)Friday 12p-8p (sandwich production/pizza service support)Saturday 9a-3p (sandwich production/dish support)Sunday 9a-3p (sandwich production/dish support)Compensation:
Paid $19.29/hr + Baker tip share (eligible for compensation increase after 90-day review)Benefits:
