SAGE Dining Services® is excited to welcome a Prep Cook/Dishwasher to our team at a beautiful private school in Lafayette. In this role, you'll help keep the kitchen running smoothly by washing dishes, setting up and breaking down service lines, organizing deliveries, keeping the kitchen clean, and greeting our community with a positive attitude and a friendly smile. You'll be working in a modern kitchen on a gorgeous campus, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. You may also help out with some prep work as needed to support the team. Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile! Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes and pots. Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience. Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen. What you'll need: Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean. Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures. Prior commercial dishwashing experience preferred, however, we can teach any motivated individual. Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
