Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food service and hospitality, and who thrive in a collaborative culinary setting. The shift that is open is Thursday to Saturday 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM with room to move up to prep and line! Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dish washing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including basic cooking or food assembly. Support the culinary team during peak hours by bussing tables and ensuring that all necessary items are readily available. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean working environment. Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Experience Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with culinary practices such as food preparation and banquet service is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
