Duties Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by regularly cleaning workstations, sinks, and surrounding surfaces. Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and basic prep work when needed. Support catering and banquet services by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Manage waste disposal efficiently while adhering to recycling protocols and health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during busy service periods. Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, cleaning chemicals, and equipment operation to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation standards. Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering operations is highly desirable. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent teamwork skills with the willingness to assist in food preparation or bussing when necessary. Familiarity with kitchen equipment including dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools. Prior banquet or catering experience is a plus for supporting large-scale events effectively.
