Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is vital to our operations, supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly. Assist in the organization of kitchen supplies and inventory management. Help with food preparation as needed, supporting cooks and chefs during busy service periods. Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and cleanliness throughout the shift. Participate in deep cleaning tasks as scheduled to uphold hygiene standards. Experience Previous experience in a catering, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and kitchen operations is advantageous. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for culinary arts or interest in pursuing a career in the hospitality industry is a plus.
