Responsibilities Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients under supervision. Support the kitchen team by bussing tables and clearing used dishware during service hours. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance. Aid in setting up banquet or catering events by providing clean serving ware and assisting with setup needs. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting busy kitchen operations. Experience in bussing, food preparation, catering, or banquet settings is a plus. Knowledge of hospitality or hotel industry standards can be advantageous. Willingness to follow detailed instructions and adhere to health regulations at all times.
