Job Description
Position Summary The Kitchen Utility / Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the kitchen and dish areas. This role supports the culinary team by ensuring all kitchen tools, equipment, and service ware are cleaned and available, while also assisting with basic food preparation as needed. The position plays a key role in ensuring efficient kitchen operations and a high-quality dining experience for members and guests. Key Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area, kitchen, and storage spaces Ensure all kitchen equipment and tools are properly cleaned and stored Assist with basic food prep tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients Remove trash and recycling, and maintain clean waste disposal areas Sweep and mop floors, and assist with general kitchen cleaning duties Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Support kitchen staff during service to ensure smooth and efficient operations Assist with event setup and breakdown, including cleaning and restocking Qualifications Previous dishwashing, utility, or kitchen experience preferred but not required Strong work ethic and willingness to support the team Understanding of basic sanitation and safety practices Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during peak golf season Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in a hot, wet, and fast-paced kitchen environment Work Environment Private golf club setting with a focus on member service and hospitality Kitchen operations supporting à la carte dining, tournaments, and private events Fast-paced environment during peak dining hours and seasonal events Schedule & Availability Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays. Part-time and seasonal opportunities are available.
