Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to join our dynamic culinary environment. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen while assisting with food preparation and meal service. Your energetic approach will help ensure smooth operations, uphold food safety standards, and contribute to delivering a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients under supervision Support kitchen staff with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene throughout all stages of food prep and service Restock supplies and organize storage areas to keep the kitchen tidy and efficient Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly Adhere to all food safety regulations and dietary department guidelines during food handling and preparation Experience Previous dietary aide or dietary department experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly advantageous Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly is a plus Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper knife skills and handling of ingredients in the food industry Exposure to catering or large-scale food service operations is beneficial Strong understanding of kitchen safety protocols and sanitation standards Enthusiasm for learning culinary skills and contributing positively to team efforts Join us in creating a welcoming atmosphere where quality food service meets exceptional teamwork!
