Duties Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, storage spaces, and dining areas when necessary. Support catering and banquet events by preparing food items and ensuring timely setup and breakdown. Buss tables during service hours by clearing dishes, resetting tables promptly, and assisting with guest needs. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen workflow during busy service periods. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic kitchen operations. Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food safety standards such as proper handling of utensils and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues during busy shifts. Experience with catering or banquet settings is a plus but not mandatory. Willingness to learn new skills related to food prep, serving, and hospitality operations.
