Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with experience in restaurant or catering settings preferred. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain culinary and hospitality experience while contributing to a positive guest experience. Duties Responsible for thorough cleaning of dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment to ensure sanitation standards are met Assist with bussing tables by clearing plates, silverware, and glassware promptly and efficiently Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic kitchen duties and ingredient handling Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down tables, and organizing service stations Ensure all food service areas adhere to safety and hygiene regulations at all times Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service times Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards assisting others in fast-paced settings Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary Basic understanding of food preparation, serving, and kitchen operations is advantageous This role provides an excellent foundation for those interested in culinary arts or hospitality careers.
