Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to uphold health and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and work areas to promote a hygienic environment Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or assembling ingredients under supervision Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by maintaining a proactive attitude and supporting fellow staff members Skills Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and bending Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
