Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning countertops, floors, and food preparation areas. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients for cooking. Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in the overall cleanliness of the restaurant or hotel kitchen by performing additional cleaning tasks as required. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Experience in bussing tables or serving is a plus. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is beneficial. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
