Duties Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed. Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. Contribute to banquet and catering setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen environment through regular cleaning of floors, counters, sinks, and storage areas. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times and special events. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key. Familiarity with kitchen operations such as bussing, food handling, or basic food prep is a plus. Experience working in banquet settings or catering environments can be advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintaining sanitation standards is beneficial. Prior hospitality or hotel experience can provide a strong foundation for success in this role.
