Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces and work areas to meet health and safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and basic assembly line work when needed. Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Properly handle food items according to safety guidelines while supporting food service staff during busy periods. Manage waste disposal and recycling processes responsibly to keep the kitchen tidy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery. Skills Strong understanding of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards. Experience in bussing tables or supporting food service operations is a plus. Familiarity with food preparation, catering, banquet experience, or restaurant environments enhances your effectiveness. Ability to perform cleaning duties thoroughly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic cooking skills or culinary experience are advantageous for supporting kitchen activities. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward hospitality service. Knowledge of hotel or restaurant experience helps in adapting quickly to operational needs.
