Duties Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and food service staff. Maintain a clean and organized work station by regularly sanitizing surfaces, sinks, and storage areas. Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and ensuring all serving ware is spotless. Help with bussing tables during service hours to ensure prompt clearing of dishes and maintaining a tidy dining environment. Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and prevent cross-contamination. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and special events. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred. Knowledge of basic food handling, cleaning protocols, and kitchen safety practices. Experience with food preparation, catering, or banquet settings is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in fast-paced environments.
