Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas including floors, counters, sinks, and storage spaces. Support catering and banquet setups by preparing ingredients and ensuring all serving tools are ready for service. Help with bussing tables during service hours to ensure a clean and inviting dining environment. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of prepared food items and maintain smooth workflow. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with basic food handling, cleaning protocols, and kitchen safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations. Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus but not mandatory. Passion for hospitality, cooking, or culinary arts is highly valued.
