Responsibilities:

Dismantle, deep clean, and reassemble commercial kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, grills, broilers, and more. Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, following food safety and hygiene protocols. Clean and disinfect all ceilings, walls, baseboards, floor mats, hoods (interior and exterior), and hard-to-reach areas. Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals and tools safely and effectively, following standard operating procedures. Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times during cleaning operations.

AM Skills:

Sweep, mop, wash dishes, empty trash, and assist with supply stocking and general kitchen support. Collaborate with Kitchen Workers and provide support in back-of-house operations when needed. Follow all safety, sanitation, and departmental policies and procedures. Perform any additional duties assigned by Stewarding Managers or Supervisors.

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred. A combination of education and experience in commercial kitchen cleaning, janitorial services, or stewarding will be considered. Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, if required. Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills in fast-paced environments.
