Responsibilities:

Dishwashing:

Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans in a timely and efficient manner, using the appropriate cleaning materials and equipment.

Kitchen Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure that kitchen equipment, such as dishwashing machines, is maintained and operated properly. Report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.

Organization:

Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and free of clutter. Properly store dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated areas.

Assist Kitchen Staff:

Support the kitchen team by helping with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping vegetables, as needed. Adherence to

Health and Safety Standards:

Follow all health and safety guidelines and regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals, to maintain a safe working environment.

Team Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient operation of the kitchen.

Efficiency:

Work quickly and efficiently to keep up with the pace of the kitchen and ensure that dishes and utensils are readily available for the culinary team.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of dishes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. Basic knowledge of kitchen procedures and equipment. Team player with excellent communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
