Responsibilities Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to uphold health standards and cleanliness. Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and supporting cooks during busy service periods. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware and equipment are impeccably cleaned and ready for use. Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, sinks, and storage areas to promote a safe working environment. Handle food handling procedures responsibly by following safety protocols and proper sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events. Follow all food service guidelines to support overall restaurant experience, including proper waste disposal and inventory management. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key! Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads of dishes or supplies. Strong attention to detail in cleaning procedures and adherence to health safety standards. Basic understanding of food handling practices and sanitation protocols. Experience with catering or banquet settings is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced environments. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary operations. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
