Operate and clean the dish machine; monitor water temperature and sanitizer levels and report any malfunctions to management. Waste:
Empty trash and recycling, break down boxes, and remove waste to designated areas; clean and sanitize trash receptacles. Sanitation:
Sweep and mop floors, wipe down surfaces, and help maintain overall back-of-house cleanliness and sanitation. Prep & Cross-Functional Support:
Assist prep cooks and the production team with basic prep tasks — washing, peeling, and chopping produce; portioning; packaging and labeling; and stocking stations. Flex into prep and production work as dish volume, coverage, and daily demand allow, and put away deliveries as directed by kitchen management. Compliance:
Strictly adhere to all local health department and food safety guidelines, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
