Dishwasher/Food Prep

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/Food Prep to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen and supporting food preparation activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met. Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and preparing simple dishes under the guidance of chefs. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas by regularly cleaning surfaces, floors, and equipment. Support the team during busy service periods by bussing tables and ensuring that dining areas are tidy. Help with banquet setups and breakdowns as needed for special events. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in food service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during meal preparation and service. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is an advantage. Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Knowledge of food handling safety regulations is beneficial. Willingness to learn and adapt within various kitchen roles including serving, cleaning, and culinary tasks.
