Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients Support the catering team by providing clean dishware for banquet events and special functions Help with bussing tables and clearing plates during busy service hours to ensure smooth operations Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils for food service Skills Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and food safety regulations Experience with bussing tables and supporting food service operations Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic culinary practices Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments typical of restaurants or hotels Familiarity with banquet or catering experience is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality service Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance This role is paid and offers an excellent stepping stone into the hospitality industry.
