Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to ensure cleanliness and readiness for service Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station, including proper disposal of waste and recycling materials Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, such as peeling or chopping ingredients under supervision Support the catering and banquet teams by providing clean dishware and assisting with setup or cleanup during events Follow all food handling safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely turnover of dishes during busy service hours Perform routine cleaning of kitchen floors, sinks, and work areas to uphold sanitation standards Skills Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic understanding of kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, and catering support Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff Experience with banquet or hotel food service is a plus Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary Embark on a career where your energy fuels our vibrant kitchen!
