Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly washed and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste regularly. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Support the culinary team during peak hours by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes efficiently. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with banquet service and catering events as required. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, cooking, and serving. A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service in a culinary setting.
