Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and thoroughly. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service. Help keep the kitchen environment organized by following proper food handling and storage procedures. Follow health and safety standards to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe workspace. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service hours. Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with basic kitchen cleaning practices and food handling regulations is a plus. Experience working in banquet settings or catering environments can be beneficial. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail when maintaining cleanliness standards across all areas of the kitchen. Willingness to learn new skills related to food service, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
