Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup for service or catering events. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas through regular cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal. Aid in setting up banquet or catering events by organizing supplies and ensuring all necessary items are ready for service. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to support smooth operations during busy service times or special events. Skills Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key. Strong ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of basic food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards. Experience with bussing tables, supporting catering events, or banquet service is a plus. Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors. Flexibility to assist with various roles within the hospitality setting as needed.
