Job Overview:

Duties:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand
• Ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and floors
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly
• Support kitchen staff with various tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a food handling or kitchen environment is preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Skills:

• Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
