Dishwasher/ Cook Helper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to maintain a tidy dining environment. Support kitchen staff during busy periods by helping with basic cooking tasks or food handling as required. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in banquet setups and cleanups as necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks as needed.
