JOB SUMMARY
This role is essential to the flow of the restaurant, responsible for ensuring that all culinary and service teams have the clean tools and plateware necessary to deliver an exceptional guest experience
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and cookware using industrial dishwashers or manual methods, ensuring all items are stored correctly. Keep kitchen work areas, floors, and equipment in clean, orderly condition through regular sweeping, scrubbing, and waste removal. Proactively stock serving stations, refrigerators, and cupboards with necessary supplies to support seamless service. Clean and maintain disposal areas and perform additional shift tasks to support the overall needs of the restaurant. Perform other shift duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience:
Prior experience in a restaurant or high-volume kitchen is a plus, but not required. Ability to stand for long periods, move quickly, and lift up to 50 lbs. (pots, pans, and trash bins). Must be able to stand and move for the duration of a shift (up to 8 hours) and lift/carry up to 50 pounds frequently. Basic verbal communication skills to coordinate with kitchen and service teams. Ability to follow all safety and sanitation protocols, including the proper use of chemical cleaning agents. Must be able to work dinner shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
