Prep/Dishwasher

Job Summary Giovanni Pastrami, a fast-paced and high-volume restaurant in the heart of Waikiki, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. This role is essential to keeping our kitchen running smoothly by maintaining clean dishes, utensils, and work areas while supporting the overall kitchen operation. Key Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently Keep dishwashing area, kitchen floors, and trash areas clean and organized Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as taking out trash, recycling, and restocking supplies Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards Work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff Perform additional cleaning or prep duties as assigned by kitchen management Qualifications Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment Strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience preferred but not required Schedule & Availability Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Full-time and part-time positions available
