Job Description
Job Summary:
- We are looking for a Steward/Dishwasher to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand. The Steward/Dishwasher will maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Steward/Dishwasher or similar role. Knowledge of sanitation regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills. Attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Load, run, and unload dish machine. Wash specific items by hand, such as pots or pans. Store clean equipment, dishes, or other items in designated areas. Sweep and mop kitchen floors. Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to bend, kneel, and reach.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced kitchen environment.
